Jennifer Bringle is a writer and editor based in Greensboro, N.C. Her work has appeared in Glamour, Good Housekeeping, HuffPost, Parents, Health, The Washington Post, Healthline, Women’s Wear Daily, Sourcing Journal, Woman’s World, Business Insider, First for Women, Well+Good, HelloGiggles, SheKnows, Birchbox Magazine, Southern Living, Our State, The News & Record, The News & Observer, and The Charlotte Observer, among other outlets. 

Jennifer also has been featured on Good Morning America, Al Jazeera, Ladybits & Leadership podcast, The Plum and the Associated Press.

Jennifer currently serves as editor-in-chief of Mod Society magazine. She previously served as editor-in-chief of Casual News Now and Casual Living, trade publications covering the outdoor furnishings and accessories industry. She also served as managing editor of Designers Today, a trade publication focused on the interior design community. Prior to that, she served as editor-in-chief of Kids Today magazine, the leading trade publication of the infant and juvenile home furnishings and accessories industry.

Jennifer also has written several young adult non-fiction books on various topics from theater lighting to homelessness. Of her book, Reproductive Rights: Making the Right Choice, the School Library Journal said:

“Reproductive Rights features an even-handed look at the pro-life/pro-choice debate along with a vast amount of information on contraception.”

Jennifer was announced the winner of the North Carolina Writers’ Network’s 2013 Rose Post Creative Non-Fiction Competition for her essay, “Mamaw’s House.” Of her work, judge Shawna Kenney said, “This was the winner from the very first sentence to the very last. This writer’s personal essay is a heartfelt ode to the hoarding of all that is handwritten, told in a subtle southern voice the world would do well to hear more from.” The piece was published in the University of Illinois Springfield’s Compass Literary Journal.

Jennifer writes about her experience with breast cancer on the blog Strange Trip, and she is currently working on a memoir about her post-cancer experiences.

Jennifer is a 2001 graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.A. in mass communication with a minor in journalism.
